Quantum UK 2015 is the first annual meeting of the UK Quantum Technology Hub Network. The Network was established by the UK government in Dec 2014 to accelerate the translation of quantum technologies to market. The four Quantum Technology Hubs led by the universities of Oxford, York, Glasgow and Birmingham are focussed respectively on quantum computing, quantum secure communications, quantum-enhanced imaging and quantum-enabled sensing. We will discuss progress, strategy and technical challenges across all these sectors. The meeting will also be an opportunity to bring together industrial stakeholders and academic and government researchers, with the aim of stimulating new projects, and standardising more mature technologies. If you are interested in the development of practical quantum technologies, as a researcher, business, or user, please consider joining us for the meeting. Registration will be open to all on a first-come-first-served basis.
